Bill Pranty, a well-known biologist, birder, and author in Florida, is recruiting volunteers as citizen-scientists for a project to survey and map Monk Parakeet nests in Florida in 1999 and 2000.

If you live in Florida or visit areas in which there are colonies of Monk Parakeets, you are invited to participate.
